Another Kyoto specialty — lesser known but deeply rooted — is its jazz café culture. Carrying on the spirit of the 1970s Jazz Kissaten, this colorway draws from the warm wood tones of old jazz bars. The blue stripes represent the glow of bar counter lights, while the red heel tab nods to the vintage reds commonly seen on jazz posters and vinyl covers.
